As quarter 2 comes to an end and we start quarter 3, we will be reviewing many past concepts as well as learning new ones. We have a busy quarter ahead of us, but with perseverence, we can make it!

Report cards will be sent home, Tuesday February 1. Please remember to sign and return the envelope.

Math skills: review of EOQ problems, multiplication and division, relationship between the two, number sentences, problem solving

Reading Skills - Realistic Fiction; Generalizations

Writing skills - Using the writing process to write a compare/contrast paragraph

Homework:
Monday - write spelling words 3x each, math sheet
Tuesday - Create a short story using 5 of the spelling words, math sheet
Wednesday - Put spelling words into sentences, math sheet
Thursday - Practice spelling test, math sheet

February 17 will be our next field trip to the Natural Science Center.

Cost:  $15 per child. We will leave at 9:00 and return between 1:00-1:30. Let me know if you’d like to come along! It is $9.00 for chaperones.
