Rivers of the World: Sink or Float Activity

How many cubes can your foil boat hold?

We loved this activity because we were able to tell how boats float. We also worked hard to reconstruct our boats if they sank.

Some boats were able to hold a lot of cubes.

Jawaan's boat held 100 cubes.
Micah's boat held 112.
Randy's boat held 49.
Amari's boat held 47.
Reagan's boat held 61 cubes.
Nora's held 39.
