Happy February!!

Report cards will be sent home Tuesday, February 1. Please remember to sign and return the envelope.

Math skills: review of EOQ problems, multiplication and division, number sentences, problem solving

Reading Skills – Main Idea and details; Folk Tale

Writing skills – Writing a descriptive paragraph

Monday - write spelling words 3x each, math sheet
Tuesday - Create a short story using 5 of the spelling words, math sheet

February 17 will be our next field trip to the Natural Science Center.
Cost:  $15 per child. We will leave at 9:00 and return between 1:00-1:30. Let me know if you’d like to come along! It is $9.00 for chaperones.
Picture Day: Group Picture Day will be on Wednesday, February 2. 
Snow Make Up Day: The make up day for December 16 is June 10. The next scheduled make up days are January 10 - February 21, January 11 - April 25, January 12 - June 13, January 13 -  June 14.
Crazy Hair Day will be Friday, February 4.

Jan 24-28

As quarter 2 comes to an end and we start quarter 3, we will be reviewing many past concepts as well as learning new ones. We have a busy quarter ahead of us, but with perseverence, we can make it!

Whoa! What a lot of SNOW...days!

Due to the weather, we have missed out on some great days! Well, at least we were all home safe and warm.
 
Next week, jan 18-20 will be EOQ's. If time, please review the RUNNERS reading strategy with your students. Keep practicing telling time and working with elapsed time!
